ODEEH N°25

For the new spring collection Otto Drögsler, one of the founders and designers of ODEEH, had drawn a small series of special printdesigns. After the edition ‘WE ARE THOUSANDS’ Otto illustrated portraits of women with sun hats. Out came the designs ‘TWINS‘ and ‘TWIN RACE‘. Being an illustrator as well as a designer, he was intrigued using his speciality, the portraying, and applying it on graphical allover designs. These signature prints in the literal sense build a continuous component in the huge variety of patterns at ODEEH.

Inspired by the title and the cover of the book THE BEAUTIFUL FALL by Alicia Drake…

Jörg and Otto love the book.

The so called ‘tristesse of autumn’ is neglected with the positive energy of the collection.

For the fall season ODEEH puts the emphasis on great outdoor pieces with a twist, which come in a variety of shapes. Coats and roomy over-jackets, wrap-around coats and cabans with giant lapels give a very generous and cozy feeling. Being bold and feeling protected at the same time is the message.

Of course, prints and patterns are an important column of the fall collection.

ODEEH’s signature prints start from graphic, stylized flowers and blowup versions of these, oil prints, inspired by Venetian paper works, ice scones as minimal designs, graphic animal prints, vintage car illustrations depict the huge spectrum of patterns.

Boldness is always a leitmotif for ODEEH.

Seen as in prints or in the most part of fabrics and colors.

“Our woman wants to be seen and loves the difference. She is always curious in new ways of dressing. Being courageous is her state of mind.”
